I am delighted to welcome you to The Avenue Primary School website. We are a busy and friendly family school, buzzing with exciting and stimulating learning opportunities. We pride ourselves on providing a caring and friendly environment.
Every child is encouraged to be successful and have high expectations of themselves both academically and socially and to have an understanding of the contribution that they can make to the school and the wider community.
The Avenue Primary School currently has over 380 pupils from Reception to Year 6 and a 26 place Nursery on a morning and afternoon. This website aims to give you a taster of our school, as well as providing regular updated information for both parents and pupils. We look forward to welcoming you and your child to The Avenue Primary School.

👽✨ Year 2 have been on an out-of-this-world adventure!
The children have been enjoying the story Beegu and exploring the journey of the friendly little alien. Inspired by the book, they used their fantastic imaginations to create their own unique aliens and write alternative versions of the story.
They carefully thought about their alien’s appearance, personality and the exciting adventures they might have on Earth – and we couldn’t be prouder of the results!
We have been so impressed with their creativity, descriptive writing and brilliant ideas. 🌟✏️
