Festival on the Field 2026 – Thank You! 🎉

A huge thank you to our entire school community for your incredible support at this year’s Festival on the Field. What a fantastic day it was!

We were brilliantly entertained by Party Boppers Boppers, our amazing school choir, and of course, Miss Ferguson – thank you for bringing the energy and making the day so special. The inflatables from Splash & Bounce - Hot Tub & Bouncy Castle Hire were a huge hit, and we’re also very grateful to the Pizza Fire Engine for keeping everyone well fed!

Our biggest shout-out goes to our wonderful staff, who gave up their Saturday to make this event possible for our families – your dedication and generosity never go unnoticed.

Moments like this remind me just how special our school community truly is. ❤️

📸 Please share your photos – we’d love to see your highlights from the day!

What a *crazy* week it’s been at school! 🤩

Year 4 had a fantastic trip to York, exploring DIG and stepping back in time at JORVIK. Year 5 represented us brilliantly in the athletics championships, competing against schools from across Middlesbrough 🏃‍♂️🏅.

Year 3 continued building their independence with pedestrian training, while the rest of Year 5 completed their Bikeability training 🚴‍♀️—such an important life skill!

We also celebrated World Music Day by recording our very own school song 🎶, and the excitement didn’t stop there… our second *Masked Teacher* kept everyone guessing!

All of this alongside a strong focus on learning across the curriculum—what an achievement from both our pupils and staff 👏

We’re now looking forward to rounding off the week in style with the Festival on the Field! 🌟

Year 4 stepped back in time on an unforgettable visit to Jorvik Viking Centre! 🛡️⚔️ From exploring Viking streets to discovering fascinating artefacts, the children were fully immersed in history. They also got hands-on at DIG - An Archaeological Adventure, uncovering the skills of real archaeologists and learning how the past is pieced together. 🌟
